Do you think you move enough?

I have a nasty truth to tell you.

If you are overweight it’s your fault, not your parents, not the government or aliens.

There are several reasons to look at and it is different for EVERYONE.

Having said that the one thing that all have in common is not moving enough.

This has been compounded during the pandemic.

Can we look at food? Sure but if people would move more it wouldn’t matter nearly as much.

Not moving enough has been an issue for me during this lockdown and I aim to change that ASAP. 

You want to eat more? Move more, a lot more. They are not equal.

Find ways to move more such as:

  • Standing desk
  • 10 minute walks throughout the day
  • Stretch
  • Do KB swings (if you have one) 3-5 sets of 10 reps
  • Air Squats
  • Walk while on calls

I could go on but you get the idea. If you are sitting more than an hour get up and do something!

If you look up and 3-4 hours have gone by without moving eventually you are going to have issues such as weight gain, lower back trouble, poor posture, etc.

I think not moving is literally killing us as a society. The good news the fix is simple and totally in your control.

Think about it for just a second, if you could feel better and lose weight, would you? Of course you would.

Moving more throughout your day will accomplish this.

Now go for a walk.
